What It Contains

The tuber holds alkaloids such as tetrahydropalmatine, which are calming and pain-easing and can cause drowsiness.

Liver

Liver injury has been reported with some corydalis preparations. Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or unusual tiredness need a doctor.

Pregnancy

It is avoided in pregnancy.
